Finchittida Finch is a Lao-British Artist, Designer and Educator with a focus on embodiment and nature through textiles, fashion, jewellery, installation, movement & storytelling.

​

She led the creative direction for her eponymous jewellery brand 'Finchittida', which specialised in statement pieces championing Lao culture & self-empowerment. The brand was known for its audacious aesthetics & altruistic attitude.

​

​As the daughter of a Lao refugee and working class Londoner, Finchittida advocates for social & environmental justice. She was a mentor at the Southbank Centre's annual WOW Festival [Women Of The World] & in 2014 gave the TEDx Talk; 'Why having a purpose is sexy as hell!'

​

In 2018 she was awarded the notable Burberry Design Scholarship to complete a Masters in Jewellery & Metal at the Royal College of Art.

​

A strong believer in the healing power of creativity & cross-cultural collaborations, Finchittida's work includes a game-changing project in Cambodia styling music artist Laura Mam; a pioneer leading a new generation of music artists since the Khmer Rouge rule, 'Laid To Rest' a solo exhibition in Japan & during the 2020 pandemic she co-founded 'Crucible'; a global BIPOC vessel for creativity & co-directed SEASON; a gallery at the intersection of art, community & nature.

Finchittida is a Visiting Lecturer/Tutor at the Royal College of Art, Central Saint Martins and Goldsmiths, University of London.

​

To date, her clients include FKA twigs, Cleo Sol, Nike, ASOS, Urban Outfitters, WAH London, Thrasher Magazine & Warner Bros.
